We’re an international agency, but our roots are in the Cotswolds and it’s really important to us that we support and stay connected to our local community. Which is why we all headed en masse to one of our very favourite local events – the Chipping Norton Literary Festival.
ChipLitFest might be local to us, but it has a national profile and welcomes writers, speakers and literary enthusiasts from all over the country and beyond.
And, as fellow communicators, it’s inspiring to meet and talk with writers from a huge range of backgrounds, genres and disciplines.
Many of us at TALA have been coming to the festival for years, but this time we wanted to extend our support through our sponsorship of broadcasting legend Edward Stourton’s theatre talk. Based on his book ‘Confessions’, Edward reflected on his life and shifting attitudes in a world that has changed dramatically during his 40-year broadcasting career.
As a sponsor, we’re helping the festival to grow and develop, and it meant we could welcome more of our lovely friends and clients into the Oxfordshire countryside for a day of talks, events and drinks in the sunshine!
