After an extremely busy week coordinating media for high-profile Remembrance activities for the National Memorial Arboretum, we took a moment to reflect on our own support of the Armed Forces Community at TALA.
We’ve met and worked with so many inspirational Armed Forces personnel, veterans and reservists over the years. And with a military spouse on the team, we understand some of the challenges facing the families of those serving.
As a company, one of the practical ways we demonstrate our support is by signing up to the Armed Forces Covenant. TALA currently holds a bronze award in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, and we hope to be awarded silver soon.
Whilst most of our support is through our HR policies, values and advocacy work, last weekend TALA’s Andrew Baud and Sarah Garstin were able to show their support in person (or in the audience at least) at RBL’s Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday night.
