Andrew Baud, Managing Director
A strategic communications consultant with a hands-on, practical approach, Andrew has over two decades’ experience in branding, communications and public relations.
He has worked both in leading consultancies and in senior in-house roles running successful programmes for a variety of clients.

Becky Charman, Consultant
Becky has 20 years’ consumer and business-to-business PR experience, both in-house and consultancy, including work for one of the country’s largest regional PR agencies.
Her key areas of expertise include developing and implementing consumer campaigns and strategy, media relations and event management.
Catherine McNulty, Consultant
Catherine is an NCTJ-qualified journalist who wrote for a variety of publications including regional newspapers and magazines before moving into PR over a decade ago.
Since then she has represented a diverse mix of clients, joining Tala in 2010 where she works chiefly in the construction sector.
Harriet Mountford, Client Services
Harriet has 15 years’ experience working in creative marketing and design agencies and previously held a senior role within the Blue Cross communications team.
She is experienced in managing accounts from large corporate clients to charities and has strong project management experience coupled with excellent relationship building skills.
Chris Rowland, Consultant
Chris spent 8 years delivering campaigns for political clients before joining Tala in 2016.
He is experienced in developing relationships with key stakeholders, and crafting messaging that will engage a broad audience.
Claire Barry, Associate Director
Claire has worked in partnership with Tala for over five years. Her experience comes from working in a top London agency before leading the external affairs function for Starbucks Coffee Company. For the past ten years she has provided strategic communications support to a range of global and local organisations including Oxfam, Cochrane UK, the Global Canopy Programme and OXPIP.
Nicola Leonard, Associate Consultant
Nicola has over two decades’ experience with major UK consumer brands such as Gillette, Dulux and Halfords.
Trained in planning and evaluation, Nicola has experience with Porter Novelli, LeFevre and other consultancies before joining Tala.
